April 29 – How have we changed?

22You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.  Phil 2:5

Has the 30 Blessings Project renewed your attitude or refreshed your mind?  Has it helped the attitudes of anyone you’ve blessed?

Blessing others feels more natural to me, more intuitive, and I think more a part of my outlook on life.  What has your experience been?

Where does the conversation go from here?  Has your idea of what constitutes a blessing changed?  Does it seem more natural to bless others?  Would you be willing to teach others to consider blessing those around them on a regular basis?

I've learned that all blessings don't have to be "big ones". Often something as seeminly small as encouraging someone can be as much a blessing to them as if you'd done something big for them.
I also feel that you can most easily teach others to bless by just being a blessing yourself to any and all that you can. I am trying to decide how I can further bless my friend, Piper, and her family as she is going through this repeat struggle with cancer. I've hugged (on-line), encouraged and prayed often for them. Hopefully I'll get to see Piper on Monday and pray that the Lord will reveal to me how I can be of more help and blessing to her and her family.
This month has been a rewarding time. Thank you for the challange, BJ.
